Hair band “Lush Dahlia”
Hair decorations with large and lush flowers give even simple hairstyles a particularly festive look. And the opportunity to make large and charming flowers for hairpins with your own hands allows you to choose the perfect combination with a festive costume.

To make the “Lush Dahlia” you will need:
- light pink ribbon about 2.5 cm wide.
- scissors.
- glue gun.
- cabochon.
- lighter.
- tweezers with inclined tips.
-scrunchy.
Making a hair decoration.
From a light pink ribbon, use scissors to cut pieces 4 cm long.

You need to make petals from the resulting strips. To do this, each workpiece should be held with the wrong side up and the sides with the edge turned towards the center, placing them end-to-end one to the other.

Then the parts need to be folded in half along their length, resulting in parts bent four times.

Next, you need to clamp the sections with tweezers with inclined tips and cut off the corners of the tapes.

It remains to burn the edges of the ribbons with the flame of a lighter to secure the folded state. Then the petals need to be unfolded from the folds.

It remains to process the lower part of the parts, carefully turning the side edges towards the middle of the workpieces. Each fold must be immediately melted by fire, soldering two layers of tapes together.

As a result, you will get these petals for decoration. All that remains is to prepare the base for the flower by cutting out a circle with a diameter of 4.2 cm from a light pink ribbon.

On the base of the tape, you need to attach 9 petals along the entire edge, leaving the same distance between them.

The first row is ready, you need to glue the second tier of petals, placing them between the parts of the previous row.

Then it remains to make the third row of 8 parts.

Now you will need a center for the flower, you will need a cabochon and 8 petals. A cabochon in the shape of rounded beads will be a small base. It is necessary to glue 4 petals to the wrong side of the cabochon with hot glue, placing them in the shape of a cross.

Then you need to attach 4 more parts.

The result is a neat center for the flower; it should be secured to the prepared flower.

Next, in the center of the wrong side of the base, you need to attach a hair elastic.

All that remains is to complement the flower and its center with silver sparkles.
