Quick yeast-free bread recipe
Nowadays, perhaps every second person knows about the dangers of thermophilic yeast. But the deep-rooted habit of eating everything with bread does not give a chance for healthy eating. Those who are especially persistent try to find a way out: they find a recipe for yeast-free bread, put in a sourdough starter, and even, for a while, bake bread based on it. But the realities of our lives are such that good intentions dissolve in the race of modern life.
However, not everything is as sad as it seems at first glance. By rummaging through old books and experimenting a little, you can find recipes that will take 10 minutes of your precious time. And, by the way, they will not “hit” the family budget at all. And as a result, the whole family will enjoy delicious, and most importantly, healthy bread.
So, the recipe:
Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough (you will need about 3-4 cups of wheat flour).
The dough should be soft and elastic, not stick to your hands.
You can bake bread in a mold, or you can simply form it into a loaf or round loaf and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Dust the top with flour and make cuts with a sharp knife to prevent the bread from bursting in the oven. Let it sit for about 10 minutes while the oven preheats.
Heat the oven to 200 degrees and place the bread in it, after 10 minutes reduce to 180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
That's it - the bread is ready! Oh, that indescribable smell of freshly baked bread... And if you bother and prepare it for breakfast in the morning, it will be a truly unforgettable morning.
Bon appetit and good health!
