Apple babka or charlotte on a loaf
Many people love baking with apples, and the most popular pie is charlotte. But cooking and eating the same dish constantly gets boring.
An interesting new, or rather forgotten old, recipe for apple babka (or charlotte) will come to the rescue. It cooks very quickly, but it turns out interesting and tasty.
For preparation you will need:

First you need to prepare the apples. Peel and cut into small cubes, then sprinkle with sugar to taste and mix.

Half of the prepared bread slices should be dried. This can be done in the oven or toaster. Then cut into cubes.

Prepare a mixture as for an omelette, from milk, eggs and sugar.

Soak whole slices of bread in it on one side only, then place the moistened side in a pan greased with butter.

Mix the apples with the previously prepared bread crumbs, sprinkle with cinnamon to taste and carefully place in the mold and compact.

Pour the remaining egg mixture evenly over the top of the resulting pie and you can bake: about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.

After cooking, the apple babka should be kept in the mold for 10-15 minutes, then transferred to a dish and served.

- wheat bread 8 slices,
- eggs 2 pcs.,
- sugar to taste,
- milk 100 ml,
- a little butter to grease the pan and cinnamon to taste.
