Do you like unusual and light dishes? Try making oatmeal pancakes with apple slices! This light dish is perfect for breakfast or afternoon snack, and its unusual appearance will add a pleasant variety to an ordinary meal!
You will need:
80 grams of oat flakes
1-2 green apples
1 yolk
2 squirrels
5 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
So, first, let's cook oatmeal in water. Pour the flakes into boiling water (300 milliliters) and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
The water should be completely absorbed into the oatmeal. Then turn off the heat and cover the container with porridge with a lid for 3 minutes. At this time, peel the apples and cut them into slices. Cut out a core from each circle, as in the pictures. Then cut them in half along the diameter line.
Carefully separate the yolks from the whites. Add one yolk to the porridge and mix. Then add flour and sugar and mix well again. Beat the egg whites until they form a stable white foam and mix the dough with gentle movements from top to bottom.
Place the dough by the tablespoon onto a hot frying pan greased with vegetable oil.Place half an apple slice on top of each portion of dough, pressing it in slightly with your fingers. After 30 seconds, flip the pancakes and bake on the other side for another 30 seconds.
Serve with jam, condensed milk or jelly.
