Cooking pork marinated in soy sauce
Cut the meat into large pieces, as for salting lard. Rinse well. Wipe with strong alcohol on all sides.
Prepare the marinade. Mix light and dark soy sauce, add sugar, cinnamon, anise, bay leaf, cloves and chili pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Pour over the prepared meat, cover with a plate so that the pork is under slight pressure.
Cover with a lid or cling film and leave in the refrigerator for a day. Turn the pieces over and marinate in the refrigerator for another day.
Remove the pork pieces from the liquid, make cuts and thread through the rope, twine or piece of fabric. Hang to dry for at least 2 hours.
Heat a frying pan, add a little vegetable oil. Place the pieces and cook for 30 minutes.
You can turn them over to get a crispy crust on each side. Or you can lay them on top of each other, simmering them a little, so that they are softer and more tender. You can cook meat not only in a frying pan, but also in a slow cooker.
Cool the pork and cut into small pieces. Pour the resulting juice from the frying pan. Serve as a separate dish or with any side dish. It is really very tasty, aromatic and unusual.
