Breaded fried cheese
For this dish you will need smoked cheese. Thanks to its structure, it will not spread over the pan, will not lose its shape and will give the dish a light smoky aroma.
If you make cheese sticks from hard varieties, then you will need to use more flour when breading, and dip them in the egg twice. Then the “coat” around the cheese will be quite dense and will not allow it to leak out.
To ensure the frying process goes smoothly, first prepare the crackers. This can be done even in a few days. To do this, cut off the crusts from the loaf cut into slices.
Cut them into small pieces. Such that they can be conveniently placed in the blender bowl.
Grind. Afterwards, it is advisable to dry this crumb in the oven or in a dry frying pan. But if you don’t have time to prepare, fresh crumbs will do.
Using a fork, turn the salted egg into a homogeneous mass.
Cut the smoked cheese: thickness 1 cm, length - no more than 6 cm.
Dip each cheese block completely into the egg.
Quickly, so that the egg does not have time to drip, roll the block in the crumbs that you prepared in advance.
All that remains is to deep fry our cheese blocks.
Even crumbs from very fresh bread in hot oil will become crispy, which will give the cheese sticks their uniqueness. True, excess oil may accumulate on it. But napkins will help eliminate this shortcoming. Or simply leave the cheese sticks on a metal rack for a few minutes.
