Thin dough is the secret to perfect pizza

One of the secrets of perfect pizza is thin, flavorful dough. The pizza base prepared according to this recipe will be thin, aromatic, and moderately crispy. At the same time, preparing pizza dough is very fast. But the filling can be taken “from what is available.”

Ingredients


Ingredients for 2 pizza bases (diameter 28-30 cm):
  • 2 tsp dry yeast;
  • 2 tbsp. flour (and a little more for the table);
  • 3/4 tbsp. water;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 0.5 tsp Sahara.

Advice. To make the dough more tasty, it is better to use special yeast for pizza. They contain dried onion powder which makes the dough more flavorful.

1. Heat the water to 36-38 degrees. Pour sugar and yeast into it, stir and leave in a warm place for 5 minutes. During this time, the yeast will begin to foam. If this does not happen, then the yeast is not suitable, you will have to replace it with others.
2. Sift half the amount of flour along with salt into a deep bowl.Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the yeast mixture, stirring gently.

3. Gradually add the remaining flour, kneading the dough.

4. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead with your hands for 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth. Then put it back into the bowl, cover it and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
5. Divide the dough into two parts. Roll each part into a ball and then flatten it into a flat cake. At this stage, half of the dough can be stored: wrap it in cling film and put it in the freezer.
6. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough very thinly (2-3 mm), giving it the shape of a circle.

The pizza base is ready. All that remains is to grease it with sauce, add the filling and bake for 10-12 minutes. at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius.
