How to make an emery attachment for an angle grinder

You can make a special bed for the grinder and use it as an emery machine if necessary. Unlike a conventional sharpening machine, it has higher speeds, and therefore its productivity is higher. Making such a bed is elementary.

Materials:

• Strip 20 mm;
• profile pipe 20x20 mm;
• sheet steel 3-5 mm.

The manufacturing process of attachments for angle grinders

It is necessary to prepare 2 pieces of strip 50 mm each, drill them and screw them to the angle grinder gearbox.

Then they are welded with a jumper. The result is a mounting bracket.

It is necessary to weld an L-shaped part from a profile pipe with sides 20 cm long. Then this stand is welded to the bracket on the grinder.

Now you need to cut a small plate from sheet steel and weld it to the stand at an angle. To do this, a flap disk is installed on the angle grinder to orient the part according to its angle.

A section of profile pipe is welded to the bottom of the frame to clamp the machine in a vice.

That's it, the design is ready. If desired, it can be painted.

Now, installing it together with the grinder in a vice, we get an excellent sandpaper that can process the necessary workpieces in seconds.
